So, years ago my wife got sick of my tearing movies apart for their bad science, and told me to write a blog about it.  Of course, I didn't.  But she did give me a nickname, The SciFi Mortician.

I mulled over the idea of doing a blog as time passed and really cool movies with great effects and abysmally poor science came and went.   Then last night I saw a preview for Sharknado 4.  The time, had come. 

This is just a placeholder post, and my apologies for it.  I will be posting here movies that caught my eye for their special effects and story, but then severely poked that eye with the sharp and pointy stick of poor science. 

Stay tuned.  I have to spin my Wheel of Bad Science and pick my first victim.
